Tawang unifies

Opa Wajong raised a stick of living Tawaang (Cordyline fruticosa), stabbed it into the ground and said:
"Here is the limit of your land. Tawaang is not to separate you but here it is where your are united".

The day was still young in Talete village of Tomohon, two pieces of lands were inherited to the two sons of Opa Wajong. No one would dare to move the tawaang from the point where it was planted by the Opa. It should be there forever to border and to unify the heirs.
